I've been here many times. Nice little sushi local sushi joint. Service was good. Seemed a little slow but carryout was crazy busy so it was ok We split a bunch of rolls and some sashimi. Parking gets tight on a busy night but we've never had trouble getting a table. Casual environment inside.
I've ate here twice and the sushi was very good and fresh. Highly recommend this place to others.

If you ever find your way to J and Y, you have now found the hidden gem of sushi out in the county. This sushi has no business being THIS GOOD. The service is quick and you will frequently get a free appetizer roll while you wait for your order (: I'm serious, they're amazing. There is dine in and carry out - the dining room isn't huge but it's nice enough inside to enjoy with friends and family. I genuinely can't write nice enough things about this Eldersburg treasure. My husband and I will still drive here from the city where we now live because it's so good and well priced. ILYJnY
I still love this place when I visit Carroll County MD. Their price point is very fair. Their fish is fresh. Plenty of rolls and options to choose from all being served to you with a friendly smile. My children have taken to this place as their go to spot also. I miss this place but I'll see this sushi house again when I come back up. Till next time....
We decided to inside the restaurant for dinner. The waitresses were very attentive to our table. The food came out timely and tasted fresh. I will definitely be returning to try other sushi rolls. Menu is filled so different, unique rolls.
Let me tell you about J&Y Tokyo Market! I always thought this was an Asian grocery store, and perhaps at one time it might have been. The building is so unassuming from the street that it is very easy to pass this gem and never experience this treasure! No, in October 2022, it is a wonderful sit down or carry out style Asian restaurant. We ordered several items to be served at the same time, including Pork Dumpling Gyoza, Spicy Tuna Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll, and a Rt. 26 Roll. I can't say enough nice things about this meal. The service was excellent, courteous, and timely. I think the server brought an additional roll we hadn't ordered. When we attempted to return it, we were advised it was complimentary. The food quality and plate presentation were impressive. The service was on point. We will definitely return.
